When you hear of Jay-Z you hear of Rocawear. Rocawear was created by Jay-Z, Damon Dash, and Kareem Burke. They are also the heads of the hip hop label Roca-Fella Records. Ultimately Jay-Z took over the clothing line because of a falling out between him and Damon Dash in the year of 2006, but than sold the rights of Rocawear to Iconix Brand Group in 2007. Jay-Z is still though apart of the licensing, product development and overseeing the marketing of the products.
