Pray For Kanye

Dr. West, 58, a Chicago resident, has died late Saturday/early Sunday in Los Angeles.
A spokesman for Kanye West stated that "the family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of grief." Kanye West was overseas in London at the time of his mother's death. Friends close to him say that he is devastated.
Kanye and his mother were very close she even made a book called
"Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a Hip-Hop Star," a memoir she'd penned with author Karen Hunter about bringing up her famous son.
In the book, Dr. West focused on raising her talented son as a single mother in the African-American community and eventually became his manager as he gained national attention as a new musical sensation.
In the early period of West’s career, Dr. West always called local Chicago radio and television stations in attempting to get Kanye booked for live or taped appearances.
I hope Kanye will continue on making his mother proud and use her death as a blessing and as motivation.

Gangster American: Jay-Z
Jay-Z's album that came out is one word "fire". Every song on that album had me bopping my head with the use of his words over the beat. Now me I' am more of a Nas fan because Nas talks about issues that go on in life. But Jay-Z in this album really stood out, it should definitely come on top as number one in the charts and if it does it would be his 10th time hitting number one on the charts. My favorite song from the album is "fallin", in that song his flow was really remarkable with that beat. On the track "Blue Magic" I found it to be really entertaining sort of like he just sitting back in his chair just speaking to someone. Too me Jay-Z may be one of the best rappers right now in the game considering alot of rappers cant just come on the beat without writing on paper and sounding that good on it. The album came out November 6th and if you didnt get it now you should definitely pick it up when you have the time.

Featured artist on the cd are: Beanie Sigel, Lil Wayne, Nas, Pharrell, and minor vocals from Kanye West, Beyonce, and Cassie.
Jay-Z has also went on tour from November 6th- November 12th to promote his album.
